What to Know
What Can I Submit?
Due to limited staff we are doing our best to serve as many folks as we can when our books are open. We know you may have tailoring needs, however we can only accept those with measurements included upon drop off.
Open stitches or mending, (visible or not)
repairs such as missing button, zipper replacements, darning, or other creative means to repair
Vintage refurbishment: historic or heirloom garments that you’d like restored or have elements added or subtracted.
Well loved home goods that need rehab or to be duplicated
Does your item not fit this? We also take pre-marked hems or reworks too. Pre-marked simply means, you have left a mark or safety pin, or a note card with instructions so our sewists know what to take in, up or let out.
Can I get a Fitting?
After closing our shopfront in June, we no longer provide fittings.
The Pandemic taught us that, we can be very successful in providing tailoring with body measurements and photos alone.
Not sure if you need a fitting?
Rule of thumb: You don't need to try on your garment to explain the issue.

We now charge a nonrefundable scheduling fee of $5-$10 that will be applied to your return shipping once your order is completed.
Our current turn around time is 1-4 weeks once your order is received by us.

What Happens Next?
That’s All! After you’ve sent away your items to us, we’ll secure them in our workflow. You’ll be alerted via email at each stage of the process to keep you in the loop.
All alterations will have an $3-$15 USPS return shipping fee applied to them. We aim to offer competitive return rates to get you the best deal.
All you have to do now is sit back and wait for your garments to return to your doorstep!
Now until September 21st, 2023 all customers shipping from OUTSIDE of Oregon will receive FREE shipping applicable to their next order with us.

Not to fear! While our calendars are closed routinely for COVID-19 regulations, you can still get your name on the list for the next round of projects! Please inquire with us today and we will add you to our waiting list.
